Futureboogie Recordings is the Bristol-based label that is currently revitalising house music with a fresh take on four-to-the-floor that's aimed squarely at the dancefloor. Its stable includes the likes of Julio Bashmore, Eats Everything, Waifs & Strays and Behling & Simpson and together they have created an output of tracks that mix cosmic sensibilities, fat basslines and deep, driving kicks. Put simply, Futureboogie specialises in music that can power a party 'til dawn and the label has become the go-to place for tunes that can blow a club apart.
Futureboogie turns ten-years-old this year and is currently celebrating a decade of putting on parties, being a booking agency and a highly prolific DJ crew. Its label hasn't been running all that time (it was founded in the spring of 2011) but all-in-all, Futureboogie's influence has never been stronger.
