IPHONE 4S

Best for new talents
iPhone 4S

All that marks the iPhone 4S out from its predecessor is an extra line on its casing, a fix for the ‘death grip’ that plagued the 4. Otherwise it’s business as usual: a crisp 3.5in screen and premium glass and steel construction. On the inside, though, it’s a different beast. It’s twice as fast, with a new, improved 8MP camera and some cool new tricks. First up is iOS 5 (also available for 4 and 3GS) with free BlackBerry-esque iMessage service, one-
touch Twitter uploading and iCloud integration that will eventually let you stream your iTunes music wherever in the world you are. There’s also Siri, a voice control system that will answer questions, set reminders, control music (particularly useful if you have headphones with a remote) and more. Rivals may have bigger screens, skinnier bodies and lower prices – but right now, the 4S is the ultimate smartphone technology showcase. HHHHH
