This US six-piece have obviously been spending less time listening to the world music that inspired their debut album and more time in New York loft parties. Their second album has a cosmic disco groove (‘The Following’), thought-out harmonies (‘The Unknown Faces at Father James Park’) and electro- pop moments (‘The Right One’), creating the kind of warm glow you may get from a house party in a log cabin. Four of the tracks are soft rock/pop à la Fleetwood Mac (‘Afterglow’, ‘Winter Falls’). The only low point is ‘Give’, if only because it sounds exactly like SMD’s ‘Cruel Intentions’.
