The only predictable thing about Danish electronica whizz Anders Trentemøller is that he’s unpredictable. This is an album of remixes (people re-jigging his work, and vice versa) and reworkings (Anders refurbing his own tunes). Whether it’s filmic electronica, moody post-rock, skittish techno or any other of the weapons he has at his disposal, Trentemøller can be devastating. Of his own rejigs, it’s the doom-laden electro-rock of ‘Neverglade’ that hits hardest. As for the remixes, the like-minded Andrew Weatherall twists Silver Surfer’s ‘Ghost Ride Go!!!’ into a dubby, schaffel-style, digi-rock wig-out.
